Getting more then frustrated with the lack of products available for purchase for medical patients. This site is able to offer medical product based on ours and others plant count being turned over to them yet the medical side is treated as second in every way. Many times there is no selection at all, seeds in much of our purchases, and zero concentrated for our burners of any kind. Booooo 😣As an update, this happened again today, no concentrates of any kind for medical patients. If your response below has any weight then I would think you might want to impress your local and daily clientele not run the rest of us off!!!! Seeking alternative business to work with!!!1/20/2021 update. I was guilted and bullied in to removing my recent review from FB concerning uncured, unsmokable, seedy product once again. They have shut down all medical services and only offer recreational now. They have offered replacement product, that is not the issue here. Honest reviews are invaluable to those of us who care to work with honest and quality businesses!!

I've been to multiple places as I prefer to smoke at home. I use for both medicinal as well as recreational. Therefore I buy ounce at a time and The Herbal Alternative had the driest of All the other stores in my last visit. If I get the same again this week, I'll definitely let you know.

My friend is a disabled veteran on a limited budget. This is the only place he ask me to go for his medicine. The following words are his.Not one complaint since becoming a customer until 9/11/2020, Batch #F1-BFOG-081720 and Batch #F3-MC-081720. Black Fire OG was sub par and the Mandarin Cookie was premature. Since this was the first time I've ever gotten a sub par product I let it go.Fast forward to 9/23/2020, asked friend to pick up medicine for me. Batch #F3-JW-081820. Jabberwocky small buds. I have gotten Jabberwocky from your establishment several times and was always satisfied. What my friend brought back was an insult. Premature no smell and nowhere near the potency it states.Hope the owner and management read this and correct the issue, there is no reason to treat loyal repeat customers this way. Allowing a sub par product to be sold to the public is not a wise business model and let's others know that whomever is in charge of quality control is asleep at the wheel.If this happens again I will take my business and recommendation to others somewhere else. Very disappointed that a five star establishment has treated there customers in this manner.

Sold flower to my boyfriend that was obviously not ready, basically what I like to call premature. So don't buy Jabberwocky, has no affect at all. Really disappointed. Great service but not good bud this time. Hopefully this does not happen again.

Been coming here a few years now from Deep South Texas. I'm from Vernal so Cortez is a strategic location. In the years I've used your service's all ya'll have never had poor quality product ( maybe a bit dry) Your tenders are always polite, professional and usually laugh at my jokes.. Your Military discount is the best I've seen in the entire Cortez, Marcos and Durango area. Just wish ya'll could keep Gc in stock.. Even during this democratic attempted overthrow with mandatory communist directed business shutdowns. It was a pleasure purchasing from ya'll. Even if yer Coast Guard!! Go Army. Plotted. Scouts Out.

The shop is great, very very well priced and great quality. Staff and customer service could be better. Except Jackson and Brittany. I met Jackson at a different dispensary when I moved here about a year ago. I am someone who lives with the depression and anxiety on a daily basis and cannabis is my lifesaver. When I moved here I started to shop around at different dispensaries and was treated the same every single time. I was rushed to buy my product and rushed out the door by the employees, feeling scared and unsure if what I bought was gonna help me. When I stumbled across Jackson he was a well mannered very polite and took his time with me, that 30 minute transaction with him he educated me on alot about cannabis. When I went back and discovered he was gone I was sad. Two months later I decided to visit the herbal alternative and when I walk in I seen that familiar face and smile. Brittany on the other hand when Jackson isn’t working she is awesome!! As for the other employees I guess it depends on the day how the service is. The elderly lady she can be funny and helpful at times for the most part she can come off as rude blunt and ignorant. The girl with the rainbow hair I can never really tell if she’s happy or if she’s rude I can never really tell and that for a customer is a big turn off. I’m sorry but that’s just my opinion. And I know it’s not the staffs fault it can be the customers fault as well. But the staff shouldn’t take it out on every single customer for the rest of the day.

The best place to go for flower! They have amazing home grown. I’m a huge fan of the Kryptonite and Girl Scout Cookies. They have great deals on concentrates too! I have smoked ONLY Herbal Alternative flower since I’ve tried it.Herbal Alternative is never affected by flower recalls, They have their own QC standards that exceed the minimum requirements. They care for their product and it shows. If you care about your health, you should also care what goes into your bud!They welcome my service dog Bear with open arms, pets and love every time I bring him. He cries in the car when we pull in because he can’t wait to see the nice budtenders. Thanks for being an amazing, caring facility. Your dispensary is my absolute favorite out of any in town. You got a loyal customer for life.

Pretty good store. Average variety of edibles but I can't speak to other products. Friendly and informative staff. Average prices. The unique thing here is they grow their own organic plants in the back. You can smell it when you drive up. They will give tours of the garden... Easy to find. You can't miss the green cross flag up on the hill.
