Usually this place is alright. Some of the budtenders are awesome people but tied by the system and used to living a locked up Amercian life without creativity.I went in and asked for a joint. Typically I get joints above 50% THC for $3-5 in Oklahoma (medically). They tried to sell me some bunk 20% pre roll for about double that and acted like it was the best thing in the world.I told him (the manager) that I would be willing to buy a joint if he was willing to buy a t-shirt from me, man to man, no corporate strings attached. He refused so I walked out of the store.

Stopped in here to try to find my new shop since LivWell went out of business in Mancos buying new product is always s***** it seems like sometimes you get something good but more often than not you pay and you get things like chameleon joints for $16 that you take one puff off of and it blows all the pot out the front of it I'm very unhappy now I mean it blew it all over all over the place it just blew right out of it was taking a puff off of it anyways they did do me pretty good as far as my bud and having some candy for me pretty good prices stay away from the chameleons they're too dry to smokeDay two after buying these crap joints and this is what I found on my carpet a hole burned in it from the stupid joint that all the pot blew out of.

They have a nice shop and the best rec shop on Cortez. I definitely prefer the medical side, the Rec side has a lot of what you would expect. They are always incredibly welcoming and helpful on the med side. Great bud, although they cure their bud pretty dry, they have some quality strains.

Very impolite/rude employee at the front. They need to smoke or something or try to at least pretend to be in a good mood. Super small place and expensive compared to the nearby dispensaries.

I was having issues with my lungs. They took the time to show me other options besides herb. They explained how to use the wax and sold me the product to smoke it. It seemed to be less expensive than I thought it would be.

Miss the pic of the Colorado flag.. This location is a tad difficult to access from the main road, luckily I've been here a few times.. During this Bogus virus Business shutdown and the lack of access to federal banking services it's gotta be tuff. Ya'll carry alot of non flower product that appeal to a larger demographic (80yr old Mormons in Utah, Maybe). Prices are maybe a bit more but you get what you pay for in this world. I live in Deeeep South Texas and pretty sure I'll be back. Plotted. Scouts out. Work on your Gc stock pile.

Ritz-Carlton and Nordstrom's should send their employees to train on customer service with the good folks at Durango Organics Cortez. Tanya was knowledgeable, informative and patient as she educated this first-timer. Crystal lent her expertise as well. Customer Service is disappearing in this digital age. This is not the case at DO Cortez! Thank you for a great experience.
