This is one of my favorite dispensaries, best prices in Durango and some of the coolest people in town, they may look super busy but they are really fast...and there’s gizmo... ask about gizmo, gizmo will change your life... Gizmo is wise like that wizard in Harry Potter, but Gizmo is cool like Axel Foley from Beverly Hills Cop. Gizmo wrote most of the songs for ZZ Top. Some people think that Gizmo is the mixed reincarnation of Lemmy and Prince, those people are absolutely correct. Gizmo is an accomplished tattoo artist. Gizmo is an avid hunter and laser enthusiast. Buyers beware! I'm not sure who runs this joint, but they are super strict about wearing a mask while you are standing outside waiting in line. Oh and don't talk about Jesus because u might just get asked to leave the property by the assistant manager. Wow !m pretty sure we all have freedom of speech nowadays.... When I went in to make a formal complaint to the owner, I was just given a cold response. I then got a phone call from Durango Police that I'm not welcome there, and I told the cop, "if you smoke pot id recommend you don't purchase it from there"🙃

I used to enjoy going here, but the last 2 times I bought shatter I got a product that won't stay hard, you have to put it in the freezer if you hope to get it off the paper. I don't want to have to struggle for hours to get something to smoke. I will go elsewhere from now on.

Went to get some concentrate and they refused me service after I've spent over a $1,000 here , DEFINITELY WONT GO BACK , the owner with dreadlocks is a B and doesn't care about listening to customers at all....

The greatest prices on carts and dabs around the area and chill staff. The guy who took my id really knew his stuff about plants and the guy who tended was helpful in getting what I asked for. Best dispensary I have been to and I have been to way too many.

This place does not have “some of the best prices in town”, they have THE BEST prices in town. I went in on a Tuesday morning and the people I encountered who work there were all amazing from start to finish. I had an awesome conversation with the tall guy in the front (sorry I don’t remember his name, Jack maybe?) while I waited and he suggested some product to me for my face because its breaking out from wearing a mask. I got what he suggested plus an ounce of green and I was very happy a week later. I had weed for days and the cream really worked to clear my face. Thank you for letting me be high on a budget!

The management declined to allow me into the store due to not having a mask. I presented my medical exemption papers and told them the law states that those with medical abnormalities are exempt from wearing a mask. They declined to allow me in or even look at the medical papers.Will never return and will tell all I know do shop elsewhere

It's not that grate and the owner is a B she got her self a law suit on her for discrimination. Me and my Beyonce have medical problems and she did not ask if we had any medical problems... She just start up told us we have to have are masks on the even standing in the parking lot... and she singled him out of everyone there.. And told him that she would refuse he's business... But no has soon has she heard about are constitutional rights and a law suit.. This chick is a sheep not no Wolf!!!!!!! And you can't miss her she's the owner and has dreadlocks😡😡😡😡😡

So disappointed in their quality of an oz...$140 for scraps and shake...now I know why it was in a black bag that u couldn't see what u were buying...they should have to show it to u first because I would have saved my hard earned money and gone somewhere else. Nice staff.

I always enjoy going here. I had a bit of a snapfoo with Dutchie ordering yesterday which had me a bit confused and apparently the budtender was a bit crabby because it was just an honest mistake, not something that should have caused the attitude I got, but since I usually have the most cheerful people I'll overlook it. They have very good product and decent prices, one of my regular stops.

Had trouble ordering on Dutchie website so as im waiting for twenty minutes in the parking lot with a rediculous not distanced enough social distancing system, with about six other people who tried and failed to order online im told by a staff member managing the small crowd gathering that because the homestead dispensary pays zero dollars to dutchie websit it doesnt really bother them that online ordering is a problem! Even though it is a much safer way to get in and out And later suggested to me that i open a new account with a new email address and duplicate myself in order to solve the problem rather than actually do something right about the problem. I informed Dutchie on behalf of homestead about the problem and the solution s given to me by a staff member. Really disappointed in management at the homestead dispensary.

I should have read the messages before going to this shop. This place is a mess. Brandon was my Budtender. I told him I only enjoy Indica and well. When i get home I looked at my Product and it was all Sativa. Not only did he lie to me but almost put me in a panic attack when i smoked some of the concentrate. I even told him about my bad Anxiety. He was also very rude when I asked him if he was sure this is what i needed. He replied by saying, I am the Boss here and I know more than any of these workers combined. First off I do not care if you are the "BOSS" you have no idea what you are talking about. Your "Educated" recommendation of cannabis almost had me in the Hospital. I am sure you will just laugh at this when you read. That is fine. I just want people to know to not ask Brandon for anything. As i read these old reviews I am not the only person who has had a problem with you. The rumors around town could not be more true about this place. People there are much better shops. The only thing Homestead has going for them is there SUPER SEEDY OUTDOOR WEED. They sell it cheap because who in there right mind would want that. To add to there downfall there concentrates have been going downhill more and more. Might have to do with the lack of Education in their lab. Still all this bad product and I still find Brandon the worst part of that store. I will do my best to inform as many People, Friends and Family about you sir and this store and to avoid it. You can't trust the Product or Employees.

Made order of cartridges two months ago and was told repeatedly by various members of staff that they would honor the price we discussed (which is still posted on sign inside store). They continually contacted me with status of order for last two months. When I ordered product online I specified in customer notes who i was and that i was only willing to pay price as discussed and as advertised if my order was to be filled. They said order was filled per request and to come get it. When I arrived Kwin basically said your out of luck with no reasonable explanation as to why they would not honor it or why they didn't notify me when they filled my order. She was very rude and called me joe schmoe and essentially said she never originally said she would honor any such price. I have multiple witnesses ( including employees) that would attest to multiple staff saying they would. It's a shame she was so rude to me and gave so little explanation given that I have spent 1000's of dollars in there store over the last 6 months. I was treated like a beggar or something and told they simply didn't care that I was upset with the lack of honesty with me and made no attempt to make it right for what's ended up being a big waste of time and gas etc. Very lame!

Would like to commend The Homestead dispensary on fine product at great prices and especially during this crises, thank you for your efforts to keep yourselves and the public safe, too bad customers still must actually enter your dispensary, but you have created a mostly safe system which is really responsible and considerate of trying not to spread viruses around the community while still doing business. Very grateful to The Homestead Dispensary.

I was worried they’d be closed but they were open and had signs warning to not go in if your sick. I appreciate the extra measures and talking to the budtender I had was very informative on what’s happening and how things are being handled. No high fives only high vibes and elbow daps (and good dabs!)

I can not stand this place anymore. The speed they go threw employees is wild and understandable. Then after I found out they get there cannabis from Kansas and its not from Colorado was very upsetting. I am not sure on laws but that seems sketchy to say the least. Brandon stated there boss gets its from Kansas because his friend grows it and gives him a great price. The long travel to Kansas would explain why there flower is always so dry. Also this place is always out of product and not for good reasons. They are so slow at restocking its crazy. This place was doing good last year but as time has gone on I have seen it go down hill more and more. Homestead please buy local or within Colorado.

Showed up at 8:50 ten min before specified closing time. The younger lady working proceeded to run to the door to lock it before I was able to enter. Very rude, if you close at 9 you should close at 9. Lost my business. Weed here is cheap for a reason. Always filled with seeds and stems even pre rolls.

I've been to quite a few dispensaries and this one by far takes the cake. When I first walked threw the door I was greeted by a very nice girl. Great attitude and very friendly. I would say perfect for the atmosphere. After checking my id I then walked back to the sales room. I was again greeted by a gentleman and a lady with great attitudes. Very friendly and full of conversation as they weighed my $70 ounce out. YES I SAID $70 OUNCE!!! I got 4 different quarters because I like variety lol "who doesn't right"! I held back from instantly writing a review until I tried the product because everyone knows Great customer service, great price and great product is what really counts. I can honestly say I am very impressed. The buds I got were very dense not airy and leafy garbage you would expect for a $70 ounce again a $70 ounce. The buds had a great taste some fruity some piney but spot on for their genetics. I would give 10 stars if I could because they nailed it. Kudos to all the staff. You did an outstanding job and I will most certainly be back. Hell I liked them so much I added their dispensary on Google. Great job guys great job 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
